Cody Linley and Julianne HoughThe news just keeps getting worse. TMZ reports that Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough's ailment last week was more than just a stomach ache. She has an ovarian cyst. She will be undergoing surgery minor surgery to remove her appendix, but she will be dancing tonight. (The appendectomy is unrelated to the cyst.)
This two-time Dancing with the Stars champion went to the hospital after last week's live results show with stomach pains. On her website (JulianneHough.com), she confirms that she has been diagnosed with endometriosis, a common medical condition that causes the development of uterine-lining tissue on surfaces of organs in the pelvis or abdomen where uterine tissue is not supposed to grow. This condition affects five to ten percent of women of reproductive age around the world.
